I have been performing my tribute to the King for over twenty years. During this time I have received many accolades and testimonials, many of which are available to see on the Quotes page. However my fascination with my hero began long before this.

When, at the age of twelve my Dad gave me three original LPs of Elvis Presley. From that day on the glam rock bands didn't stand a chance.

Thanks to the persuasion of one of my best friend, James Bond, honestly! I did my first show at the local Labour Club for the princely sum of £10! I realised even then where my future lay.

I started with the name Louis Gates – The Spirit Of Elvis. Which was fine for a long time, until 1998 when I realised everybody was commenting about my voice. Hence the new name “The Voice Of Elvis Show”. Click on Downloads to hear for yourself. I changed the spelling of my first name to Lewis and it seemed, after twenty years, I was an overnight success.

Obviously my show has grown and developed over the years. With the help and in some cases the hindrance of some dubious Managers, I stand here today with the knowledge of how to entertain an audience and the humility of knowing that what I do first and foremost is a Tribute, from the heart, to the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen!
